Tax Sale Resolution & Litigation

From time to time, clients will have projects or properties that are struggling in terms of cash flow. There are special rules related to how much tax can be paid to avoid penalties and tax sale. However, at times, the property may be listed for tax sale if taxes remain unpaid for a certain period of time. We represent clients in resolving tax sale issues and having properties removed from tax sale. This scope of work includes both settlement negotiations with the county officials as well as litigation in the local courts, when required.
